How do we unite 13 designers in one cohesive brand, while still providing enough room for our individuality to shine? Once the event identity was confirmed, the branding team started exploring custom photography as a means to let us show our own personalities into the project.
Emily Dick was the main photographer and worked closely with the branding team to execute all of the colourful designer portraits that you see site-wide. Each designer chose two colours that best represents their personality, which was applied to their designer portraits. It took us two photo sessions and some experimentation to develop the appropriate tone that we needed for SHIFT.
